Week 5: Delicious

Though I think it depends too much on users taste, I found Delicious handy when I can't get the results from the net search easily because heaps of people put different web sites they found on the net which might not be easy to find by some other people.
I can search for the related web sites that other people bookmarked which they thought they were useful by tagging system. Tags were useful. Tags are used in such web sites like Youtube, Flickr and photobucket as well.
However, most of those sites would be irrelevant to me because they would have bookmarked those sites purely for their own use. I'll get the results I want from the search if I'm lucky to find one.

Week 4: Flickr

The impression I get from Flickr is open and free.

Everyone can sign up and upload whatever photos they want to share.

I also get an impression that it's kind of like a show off of photos

that people are proud of what they've taken.

But the program is too basic.

As it is a photo sharing web site,

it could have included a program such as 'Picnik'

which provides users with many options to edit the photos.

I think it's a useful web site when you are searching for random images

and enables you to share photos with others.
