[What I learnt from this subject]
I think this subject is largely related to internet and how it works.
We learnt about Google, Blogger, Flickr, Delicious, CSS, RSS, FTP and many more that are related on networks and communications of the net. I learnt a lot of great tips that I could always look back and use. Some things I found most useful are RSS feeds and CSS HTML changes. As I only ever do check emails, go on web surfing etc. I discovered that there are heaps of things available on the net that we can learn and that what I used to do on the internet was only like licking a lollipop packet instead of what's inside. You can get so much deeper into it.
First we started off with joining and looking at different features at Google, Blogger, Flickr and Delicious then we got in deeper. I can make lots of changes and get much information as I wanted to.
I probably explored with HTML changes the most to make my blog look prettier. These include changing backgrounds, colours, fonts, changing style of photos such as feather around the edge, changing opacity etc., and even putting the background music on. There are so many HTML tags we can use to create our own cool stuff.
Using iWeb and Fetch program to set up an Athene account was also enjoyable. This was the first time making my own web pages and I thought it was fun creating layouts and putting up photos and links as I wanted it to be. By putting RSS feeds on I can also view what has been updated on the webs I subscribed to and easily access to it.
Overall, I learnt a lot about the networks how they work. I discovered infinite potentials in it.
